Swaziland has the world's highest AIDS infection rate. Of the country's population of 1.1 million, there are more than 200,000 people living with HIV. The number of children orphaned by this disease now exceeds 78,000. 10% of Swazi households are run by children. These children often lack food and are cut off from basic health services and education.
